Fall 2008 A2Sci Incentive Program
The three schools with the highest participation among fourth and fifth graders among all A2Sci learning modules in fall 2008 will win stellar educational programs at their schools from the South Florida Science Museum. Participation is defined by the highest percentage of the fourth and fifth grade population taking pre- and post-tests. Pre- and post-tests must be in by November 25, 2008.
  • First place: Three educational programs of your choice.
  • Second place: Two educational programs of your choice.
  • Third place: One educational program of your choice

Prizes are based upon availability of programs and may be subject to change. This incentive program is available to public schools in Palm Beach County.
 
How to participate:

spacer 1. Give your students a pre-test about the science topic for the learning program

  2. Use the A2Sci program to introduce the science topic to your students: this program includes a Teacher’s Guide with video introduction to the topic in segments – choose activities and worksheets to teach the topic in between each video segment. Full curricula are available on the Learning Village in Palm Beach County.

If you prefer, you can print the tests from the Learning Village to administer to your students and mail pre- and post- versions to the South Florida Science Museum, Anytime, Anywhere Science Program, 4801 Dreher Trail North, West Palm Beach, FL 33405 or call 561-370-7710 or email lsessions@sfsm.org for printed copies.
