Development Intern
Intern needed to help existing nonprofit organization to conduct research related to identifying and developing funding sources to support existing and planned program activities. Duties include: consolidating and cataloging current grant files, literature reviews; assisting with data collection; light administrative work. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; strong organizational skills; good interpersonal skills; interest in public policy, design or planning; or experience with statistics, economics, or social sciences through coursework. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday. Starting and ending dates are flexible. This is an unpaid, part-time position. We ask that interns work a minimum of 10 hours per week.

Marketing & Public Relations Intern
Intern needed to help existing nonprofit organization execute marketing projects in order to increase public awareness of and visitation to the museum. Duties include: researching media outlets (magazines, newspapers, TV stations etc.) to obtain media kits and editorial calendars; planning and execution of media premiere events for new exhibitions; updating Web calendar listings; conducting occasional visitor surveys; assembling media coverage reports; light administrative work. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; excellent writing skills; interest in marketing communications, public relations and advertising, or related experience through coursework. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher, Adobe Suite and Quark Express preferred. Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday. Starting and ending dates are flexible. This is an unpaid, part-time position. We ask that interns work a minimum of 10 hours per week.

General Office/Accounting Intern
Intern needed to help existing nonprofit organization to assist with general office and accounting duties. Duties include: taking phone calls, making copies, filing, mailing, maintaining vendor records, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, utilizing spreadsheets, human resources tasks, may assist with budget development, cash flow and grant administration. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required; knowledge in Sage/MIP preferred but not required. Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday. Starting and ending dates are flexible. This is an unpaid, part-time position. We ask that interns work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
